You're feet do all that hard work keeping you upright for hours on end! When's the last time you've given them TLC?😲 -- Just think all that time using your feet can add up pretty quickly. -- Wouldn't it make sence to at least a few times a week do some maintenence on them to keep them in shape? -- After all when our feet are in pain there's not a lot we can do to work around it...they're pretty important to us to say the least😅 -- 🤓Key tips: + Start by rolling the inner and outer side of your foot. + Your arches will generally be most sore. + Step down on the sore spot and bend your toes towards the floor and up to the sky. + Staying on that sore spot, apply pressure into the ball and twist your foot left to right .

You can come to us and tell us your goals and we can write you the perfect program (FYI - there is no such thing as the perfect program, but for the purpose of the point we’re trying to make, let’s assume there is), however, if you don’t stick to the program, it means nothing! . Consistency trumps everything! . Programs are a combination of exercises you need to do and exercises you want to do. Getting the balance right is important. Communicating to your coach what you enjoy and what you don’t is important, so they can take these things into account when developing your program. . Consistency is key! There is no sound evidence proving that just because you are eating after 8 PM you will gain more weight. What’s vastly more important is if that meal is going to put you in a calorie surplus. If it is, then regardless of the time, you will gain a little weight. . If you are trying to lose weight & late night eating has been a struggle for you, here’s our advice: . 1. Find out what your calorie deficit is 2. Spread your calories evenly throughout the day & save some calories for a late night snack 3. Don’t shy away from vanity work or be stubborn on the “functional” nature of functional fitness. . Every good adaptation is going to help you someday – even if it’s just keeping your joints healthy for future competition or test-style training. . Getting some high-rep, muscle-building work done after a lighter, easier session is a good choice. . You won’t want to do them after a chipper, but we definitely recommend fitting them in somewhere between a good workout and your post-training food. . Bigger muscles are functional, and this is the coach’s go-ahead for adding meat to your joints after a workout! #steelcoastcrossfit #muscle
